A possible future is born from our ability to accept the present, what does it really prevent us from advancing: the external limitations or those imposed by ourselves?
Oscar Gussinyer and Erika Zárate sign a chapter of the new book Futures (im)possible, a choral proposal to investigate how to continue creating conditions to emerge reciprocity in our communities, and thus transcend individualism inherited from our social traumas.
Futures (im)possible is loaded with future. From a future not only possible, but appreciable, precious, desirable. And not: this is not a science fiction book. In any case, it is an exercise of political fiction anchored in a realistic diagnosis, which looks at the depth of the ecosocial crisis, and it is posed what to do to reverse the suicide race to which capitalism has been pushing for too long. And he raises it from the hand of brilliant people: activists, scholars, artists, pencaires; artisans of social change; people who, for years, put their minds and bodies in the service of the ecosocial transition.
