“From the root and love of the territory, I give voice to people living there and living there"
Albert Brosa
Strategic Communication

"Communicate, for me, is to look at the whole forest and help find the clariana"
I am from Olot, and this marks a lot of who I am and how I work. Here I learned to listen, observe and understand communication not only as a tool to explain, but as a way to link people, stories and territories. Rooting has given me perspective, and perspective has allowed me to look at the world with more empathy and awareness. I trained as an ENG at Televisió de Catalunya and graduated in Communication from the UOC, where I also took a postgraduate degree in Technical in European Union Studies. I am currently studying Executive MBA at EAE Business School, because I think communication should go hand in hand with strategy and change management.
I spent much of my professional life, almost 30 years, in front of and behind the cameras. I started at only 14 years old at Radio la Vall (Les Preses) and later at Radio Olot. I was director of Olot Televisió, where I edited and presented The News, Election Debates and Analysis Programs such as Pros and Contres or Debates. From there I understood that the most important is not to speak, but to listen to the territory and give voice to its people. I also worked on 8TV, where I was director of news content and I conducted programs like 8 a day, Directe Catalunya or the documentary Crossing for Freedom. In The Network, I directed and presented The Point-to-Day and Moving, and above all the project that has defined me the most: the series Cross Countrys. It was much more than a TV show. It was a journey through Catalonia through the 134 units of the landscape, an emotional exploration of the relationship between people and their environments. We toured towns, cities, regions, roads and listening to the voices that explain the country from proximity and diversity. This project reaffirmed my conviction that communication is a bridge between rural and urban, institutional and community, human and natural. I have another passion that talks about it: flying. I love to see the territory from above—in helicopter, balloon or even in free fall—because it reminds me of the importance of having a wide and serene look. Only when we move a little we are able to understand the whole.
I have been fortunate to work in Betevé, TV Girona and TV3, where in 2017 I presented the program Mou-te per Catalunya. In addition, I was director of New Formats and Expansion of Corisa Media Group (Olot TV and TV Ripollès) and Director of Reputation and Leadership in Europe at the multinational consultancy LLYC, where I could apply the strategic look to national and international projects. I am articulatist of Communication 21, the portal of the communication sector in Catalonia. After all this journey, today I am a senior consultant of strategy and innovation in communication in Resilience Earth. From here, I help organizations, groups, people, companies and institutions to order their account, to explain from authenticity and to communicate with sense.
I like to think that my work is like a skylight in the forest: a space that allows you to stop, breathe and see it with more perspective. In the middle of communicative chaos, I seek to bring calm, connection and clarity. I believe that communication can transform, activate the territory and grow collective consciousness—always from listening, proximity, love and confidence.
I learned that communicating is not to make noise, but to put light. And that's what I'm trying to do, every day: open clearings for the voices of the territory to meet, become extinct and feel.
