“Revealing, articulating and weaving living realities."

I am Josep Maria and I am from Empordà, a land that has taught me to look at life with wide horizon and deep roots. This Empordà identity permeates my way of working: with commitment to the territory, sensitivity to people and the desire to articulate futures that are both just, resilient and rooted.

In Resilience.Earth I dedicate myself to the facilitation of participatory processes and the drafting of community and strategic plans that accompany municipalities, entities and groups to organize and decide in a more participatory and regenerative way. I also promote and participate in initiatives related to youth, environmental sustainability and community development, as long as complexity results in clear strategies and useful actions.

My previous career with social organizations, youth movements and environmental projects has given me the opportunity to learn about very diverse realities and to see how communities are able to transform their environment when they have the tools and space to do so. This bagage has allowed me to develop a strategic and rigorous look, but also with a close tone and committed to the territory and the entities and people that are part of it.

I think collectively we have the ability to generate local and hopeful responses to global challenges, and this conviction is the one that guides my day to day professional. In the end, what I am interested in is that projects that I facilitate are not left on paper, but generate real changes that positively impact the life of communities.
