“Complexity is not an obstacle, it is the new playing ground.
Oscar Gussinyer
Consultant, designer and facilitator

“I have been born in Garrotxa, made me root, being neurodivergent makes me disruptive”
Son of the Garrotxa and co-founder of Resilience Earth, my role in the cooperative is to make sense of the disgrace that we often find in this complexity that surrounds us, and I do so by weaving links between the tradition that has made us people and the innovation we need to go forward. In Resilience Earth I work side by side with communities, cooperatives, companies and grassroots organizations to walk towards more resilient and regenerative models. Rather than solve problems, I believe in hearing the silences of systems, where the most promising opportunities hope to be discovered.
As a regenerative consultant, my work focuses on reconnecting with the voice of the place and the dynamics of the territory. With my experience as a carob, I immerse myself in the subtleties of our landscape and the unique way to understand the life of a rooted and resilient community. This local look, combined with a global vision and a trajectory of more than two decades, allows me to facilitate collaborative processes that harmonise the global and the local without losing the essence of each.
My head works a little different, and this is sometimes an advantage. Dyslexia and ASD have made me take a taranna of thinking outside the test. It allows me to see it clear in the middle of the batibull, detecting patterns and pushing the head to find solutions where others do not see them. This tracing allows me to undo grenades, rumiar solutions that no one expected and build bridges between visions that, at first glance, seem to do not much to understand. This way of feeling also comes with a dose of sensitivity and desire to do well for everyone. In the end, it is about this: to undo knots and weave paths that lead us to a more rooted, just and resilient future.
